According to the survey report of cotton textile enterprises issued by China Cotton Association (July 2019), the yarn sales rate was 71.1% by the end of July, which was 0.3 percentage points higher than last month. Current yarn inventory in textile enterprises is 29.12 days, down 1.15 days from last month. The stock of grey cloth was 31.53 days, 2.83 days less than last month. Textile enterprises have stockpiled 705,500 tons of cotton in the warehouse, an increase of 17,500 tons compared with the end of last month, and a decrease of 89,900 tons compared with the same period last month. Among them: 24% of enterprises reduce cotton inventory, 34% increase inventory, and 42% basically remain unchanged.

Among them, the use of Xinjiang cotton in textile enterprises accounted for 83.4% of the total cotton consumption, an increase of 0.7 percentage points over the previous month and an increase of 5.84 percentage points over the previous year. Among them, the reserve of Xinjiang cotton accounted for 21.35% and that of Xinjiang cotton accounted for 78.65% this year. The proportion of real estate cotton used by textile enterprises is 10.1%, which is 0.4 percentage points lower than last month. Among them, the reserve cotton accounts for 28.49%, and the real cotton accounts for 71.51% this year. The proportion of imported cotton used by textile enterprises was 6.5%, which was 4 percentage points lower than that of last month and 2.11 percentage points lower than that of last month.
